Another pet cache in Vernon Marsh, this one is dedicated to our domestic short-haired kitty, Carson. There is parking on Hwy. I and there can be hunters in the area. This one is a significant hike and the snow can get deep. 3/15/20 Removed the old one but the new one is still there. Look in the log!
Another pet cache in Vernon Marsh, this one is dedicated to our domestic short-haired kitty, Carson. Carson is Molly's biological brother, we call him "Mr. Social" and he thinks he's a dog. He always greets everyone at the door and enjoys time in his outdoor cat enclosure! 3/15/20 Removed the old one but the new one is still there. Look in the log! Depending on which path you take, this could be the 3rd cache you may seek in the Marsh, after Molly and Chloe's caches. This one IS a significant hike and the path coming back is uphill, no matter which one you choose. You WILL get your heart rate up, especially if the snow is deep. There can be hunters in the area, the pups can be off-lead during certain times of the year and parking is available off Hwy. I. DNR for 2500-118 has been submitted for permission to hide this cache on DNR land.
