Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Walter J. Sochacki Community Park. It is a great spot to enjoy nature and walk your dog. The entrance to the park is just a stones throw from my back yard.
Walter a.k.a Red Sochacki was my Phy Ed teacher back in the 50’s. He traveled between the Robbinsdale School district elementary schools showing up at each one once a week to put terror into the students. Back in those days the Phy Ed teacher always carried a paddle with several holes (and notches) in it. Later in his career he was the Phy Ed and Health teacher as well as the wrestling coach at Carl Sandberg Jr. High School. He also served many terms as the Mayor of Robbinsdale.
This cache is dedicated to him.
