Geocache Description:

Sendet Eure Antwort bitte an:
Beispiel: dasKeltischeBecken123(at)

At this quarry, you can see bright, thick-benched sandstone with thin claystone - intermediates of the lower Early Triassic (also called Calvörde-Folge).
They are sediments which were transported about xxx millions of years ago when there were hot and dry climatic conditions. These sediments result of wide and flat rivers, which came from south-west in this territory and often shifted.

To log, please answer to the question by eMail:

How many years the sediment tranported ago? xxx years
How is the name from Basin in german?

If Your answer sends please in: Basinname+xxx(at)

Please make a picture of you or your gpsr with the quarry in the background an upload it in your log.
