Geocache Description:

One of a series of 6 caches in Edenvale Park.

The “Lord of the Rings” saga mentions five wizards. This series of caches is in honor of each of those wizards. They are the Gandalf the Grey, Radagast the Brown Wizard, Saruman the White Wizard, Alatar the Blue Wizard, and Pallando the Blue Wizard. To get to the One-Ring, you must visit each of the five wizards.

This cache is for Saruman, the White Wizard. Saruman is a fictional character in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, appearing in The Lord of the Rings.

Saruman the White is the chief of the five wizards, and the head of the White Council, the executive body of those people called The Wise. He mostly stays at home and out of sight. His colleagues are Gandalf the Grey and Radagast the Brown.

The name Saruman means clever person. In Tolkien's work The Lord of the Rings Gandalf and Saruman both play important roles.

Take note of the number in the container lid. This will assist you with the final cache in the series “The One Ring.”

All of the caches in this series have been approved by the City of Eden Prairie. Please obey all park rules (Hours are 6 AM to 10 PM daily). The trails are not cleared during the winter months. Deer are frequently seen in this park and their trails can be very useful. Office attire not recommended.
