Geocache Description:

NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES

The final in a series of 6 caches in Edenvale Park.

The five wizards from the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien have made the long journey from Middle Earth and have arrived in the City of Eden Prairie. They had received news on good authority (from local hobbits Pippin and Merry) that the “One Ring” has been spotted in Edenvale Park.

The wizards have spread out and plan to assist all geocachers in their quest so they too may locate the “One Ring.” To assist you in the location of the “One Ring,” you must first seek out the clue each of the wizards hold in safe keeping within their own cache container. Once you have their clues in hand, you can easily piece together the information necessary to find the location of the “One Ring.”

Coordinates can be found by substituting the numbers associated with the letters found in the 5 wizard caches:

GC2364E - Gandalf the Grey Wizard
GC2364Z - Saruman the White Wizard
GC2365G - Radagast the Brown Wizard
GC2365Z - Alatar the Blue Wizard
GC23665 - Pallando the Blue Wizard

The One Ring Coordinates are: N 44 52.ADA W 93 28.BEC

Our GPS readings in this area varied (up to 30 feet). Use your Geo-sense to help you make the find.

All of the caches in this series have been approved by the City of Eden Prairie. Please obey all park rules (Hours are 6 AM to 10 PM daily). The trails are not cleared during the winter months. Deer are frequently seen in this park and their trails can be very useful. Office attire not recommended.
