Geocache Description:

Park at the end of Dean Lakes Blvd.

On April 15, 2009, a man decided to burn brush in his yard carelessly on a dry windy day. The fire got out of control and burned many acres of woodlands in the Dean Lakes nature preserve area. The fire endangered nearby houses and businesses not to mention the lives of the firefighters dispatched to put out the blaze. Fortunately no one was injured. Now after a year, there is some re-growth but you can see many of the damaged trees on the way to the cache. Please be careful with fires.

Cache starts out with halloween swag but I would appreciate if you could add fireman themed stuff. There is a nice paved bike trail right to the cache. The terrain rating is for the thorns.
