Mill Micro 45 - Horley Mill
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
I thought it would be fun to see how many new cache sites I could find near to Mills in my local area. These will include Watermills and Windmills, some still in use, some now used for other purposes. Most mills are sited in nice surroundings, so I hope you will enjoy visiting them. I will be adding new caches to this series as I find them. There might not be a pencil in the micro, so remember to bring your own.
All the micros are hidden right on public footpaths. None of them will be very close to private houses. Some of them are near public highways, but many are along private roadways, with only footpath access. Please park considerately, and do not drive along any private roads to access the caches.
Horley Mill – I assume there was once a mill near here, as there is a house called Horley Mill at the northern end of the footpath, which starts from Mill Lane. You can follow the footpath to the cache site from the north, the south or the east. Take your pick!
