Undisclosed size hidden in an all to obvious location. When first listed, this cache had trees all around. in August, 2011 the State clearcut this area, so the cache container changed accordingly. This cache location was created to show a point of access to Black River State Forest lands open to the public located to the east. Just be aware, this area is also open to hunters during the various seasons as well.
PLEASE replace the cache as found...
But, if you enjoy Turkey, Duck, Geese, Partridge, Deer and Bear hunting, this area offers great opportunities to view these from a vehicle.
As you venture in past the cache, you may notice some private posted land to the south, but the road you’re on skirts around this small amount of private land in the area.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Peter Bakken, Black River State Forest Superintendent.
Geocaches placed within the Black River State Forest requires permission by means of a notification form. We would like to thank the State of Wisconsin for allowing us to place this cache for the enjoyment of fellow Geocachers.
