fraygirls: We agree with the call to archive this one. When originally placed, this cache was in the middle of the woods and the marker (a respectful distance away) was a surprising discovery of a bit of local history. Sadly, a high-end gated boomer development has sprouted like a noxious weed all around it, and the need for exclusivity means that our friend resting here will cease to receive visitors of any kind.

Geocache Description:

We've hidden a small lock & lock in, well, an interesting place!

Not long ago, we thought it would be neat to explore this area before the inevitable cookie-cutter houses started to sprout. We turned a corner and - huh? What a fascinating little spot to discover, and what an odd juxtaposition this will be when the community that will surround it becomes established! We were intrigued by the history here, and so glad that the developer didn't destroy or move anything in the name of "progress." We hope you enjoy finding the place as much as we did!

Have Fun and Good Luck!
