Geocache Description:

Lone Lake Park, Minnetonka Cache is about .1 mile S of information station #8 ("Geology of Lone Lake") on Lone Lake nature trail. Altogether, only about 1/2 mile from parking lot of Lone Lake Park. (Follow the upper trail from the parking lot rather than the lower trail.)

Container used to be a State Fair chocolate chip cookie bucket. (If you're from Minnesota, you know what I mean.) After a year or so, it turned out the cookie bucket just didn't stand up to the elements. Then we tried a disposable Glad food container - that lasted almost two years, but finally everything inside was soaked. Next a screw-top plastic jar, which lasted a few more years. We hid a new clear food storage container with lots of interesting goodies on October 16, 2015 to replace one that went missing. We'll see how this stands up to the weather.
