Zor: Thanks again to everyone who came out whether to race or to the BBQ. Hope to see you next year.

If you haven't logged your trackable out of the event yet, please do. I have no bugs or coins so other folks must have the ones dropped into the event. Please move them along accordingly.

Geocache Description:

Moncton's Race for Cache

The Post-Race Party & BBQ

The third annual Moncton Race for Cache is being held on August 7th, and geocacher's from all over are welcome to participate. If you would like to learn more about the race itself, head on over to the official race website. Teams interested in registering for the race MUST register online at the website no later than a week before the race. Race registration is officially closed! More details can be found on the race website. We also ask that you please log your intent to attend on this page whether you are racing or not. The actual race itself starts at 2pm at Bore Park in Moncton. Details are on the official site.

Teams participating in the race are encouraged to arrive at Bore Park between 1pm and 1:45pm to insure they are registered and in attendance for the pre-race announcements. All teams will leave the starting line at 2pm exactly.

This event will be held after the race and is a gathering for all geocachers whether they participate in the race or not. The event will take place at the Lion's Den Lodge in Centennial Park at 5pm. This is the actual finish line for the the race itself.

The event will consist of the regular meet and greets, drinks, food, talk of geocaching and caching adventures, bug and coin swapping, as well as the actual crowning of the winners for the Moncton Race for Cache.

This is a potluck style BBQ so feel free to bring anything you wish to cook. You can also bring drinks, snacks, or anything else you wish to contribute to the BBQ. Racers are free to bring items if they choose. If you are going to bring something regardless, please make a note of it when you log your intent to attend.

As host of the race, I will be providing pop, water, hamburgers, and hotdogs so you can cross those off as items to be brought.

All cachers who participate in the race should be in attendance as the winners will be announced at this event, and prizes given out. Come on out and meet some fellow geocachers and see who gets crowned winner of the third annual Moncton's Race for Cache. This event is for the post party celebration only. Registration and information about the actual race itself can be found at the race's website.

Hope to see you all there!

Please read the logs for the latest updates.
