Geocache Description:

This cache highlights a lost ski area

This cache is located off a parking lot of Bald Mountain Ski Area, a lost ski area in Dedham. Please check out NELSAP.com for the history of this area. The cache is a red Nalgene bottle.

You can park at N44 39'36.8" W068 36'54.6"

There is active logging in the area. Please park before the gate. Even if the gate is open do not drive up.

Met the new owner in July 2016.

After you find the cache check out the base area. You can see the remains of the ski lodge, ski chair, rope tow and T bar lifts. All the trails are overgrown but there are several trails up the mountain.
