Geocache Description:

This Earth Cache can be found near to Cape Reinga in the far North of the North Island

The sands of North Island in New Zealand, especially along the "90 mile beach" on the West Coast are really something to behold. At Ground Zero, there is a plaque describing the origins of this sand. To log your cache, you need to message me a picture of your GPS beside the plaque describing the origins of this sand. You also need to tell me in the message within 100000 years, when this sand originated. Also, at the nearby lighthouse at the NorthWest end of the footpath, there is a signpost. You need to email me the distance from there to the South Pole in Nautical Miles. Please include your caching name with the submission and log the cache within 24 hours of getting Cache-owner's permission. (It gets difficult to know who has sent answers otherwise). Please do not include any photos of the answers, or answers in your log entry, but only in the email to me. Feel free to place photos of the local area in your logs. Happy Caching
