[RO] Cu aceasta ocazie va invitam sa vizitati Pestera Studentilor, o interesanta grota din Coltii Trascaului - Piatra Secuiului. Masivul calcaros Coltii Trascaului (1113m) - Piatra Secuiului (1129m) este situat in Muntii Trascau (grupa a Apusenilor) in estul localitatii Rimetea, jud. Alba.

[EN] On this occasion we invite you to visit the Students' Cave, an interesting grotto in Coltii Trascaului – Szekler Stone. Coltii Trascaului limestone massif is situated in the mountains Trascau (group of Apuseni Mountains) at east to Rimetea village, Alba County. Student Cave is situated towards the southern end of the massif. Here is a giant-sized cave with three entrances and a breathtaking view to the two villages: Coltesti and Rimetea. You have to climb about 300 m level difference, the box is hidden outside the cave, but very close to it. Szekler Stone caves offered a safe shelter for residents from the area in times of need. Legend says that in 1849 during the massacre in Aiud, Bethlen College students took refuge in these places, hence the name of this grotto today.

After a devastating fire, around 1870, were built the famous white houses, typical of the area, which were beautifully maintained.
