The Standing Cedars Community Land Conservancy was founded in 1994 to protect land along the Lower St. Croix River, for the health of the river valley and as a legacy for future generations.
This is the location of the old Engelwood Ski Area. You will find many relics of the former ski area while exploring here. Just imagine the skiers going down the hills and being pulled back up on rope tows powered by old pickup trucks.

Geocachers should always be aware that spring turkey hunting, small game, bow deer and gun deer seasons are enjoyed on these properties by a limited number of people.
