[ENG] Roja Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Church of Roja has changed several times not only in the 17th and 18th centuries, and in 1854 when the wooden church got a new stone bell-tower, but also in 1878 when Arthur von Hahn and his wife Eugenia ordered to replace the old wooden wall of the church with a new stone wall. In honour of this historical event, a tablet indicating the year of the reconstruction was placed on the left side of the main entrance. During the WWI, the bell-tower was badly damaged and reconstructed in 1992, therefore, the numbers 1854 and 1992 (pointing the years of reconstructions) had been written on the bell-tower.
