IceColdUK: Checked on the cache today, and afraid it's gone. [:(]

This was my first cache, placed almost eight and a half years ago. Only 44 finds in all that time, and a solitary FP! Time to go.

The puzzle was all about French Kings named Louis:

Louis V the Lazy
Louis VI the Fat
Louis VIII the Lion

Louis I the Pious
Louis VII the Young
Louis IX the Saint

Louis XIII the Just (mentioned in the Additional Hints)

The song Gone Fishin' was recorded by Louis Armstrong (with Bing Crosby) in 1951.
