This cache is a 2 part multi within the castle grounds. The above location takes you to clue 1, with easy parking close by.
The name of this cache is the motto of 1 Rifles based at Chepstow and I dedicate it to all the soldiers, officers past, present and future and to their families. Good luck, be safe and R.I.P.
1 RIFLES are a Light Roled Infantry Battalion within 3 Commando Brigade, a unique role within the infantry.
1 RIFLES joined 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines in April 2008, while on a demanding exercise with Commando Brigade troops in the jungles of Belize. Plans are now being developed for the battalion to conduct arctic, mountain and amphibious warfare training with the Commando Brigade in 2009 and 2010.
A number of Riflemen have already completed the legendary, arduous All Arms Commando Course; many more will follow. Riflemen have recently won 3 Commando Medals, awarded for the student on each Commando Course whose performance and attitude best embodies the Commando ethos.
1 RIFLES has hundreds of men who have recently completed operational tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.
