How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a 1Litre plastic food storage container. This cache is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs and is located in Dartford Heath.

During the summer time this cache will be rather well guarded by brambles, so search at your own risk and with some thick trousers on.

This Is Our First Cache

Car parking can be found along Heath Lane just off the B2174 at N51°26.130 E000°11.534.

This cache is located in Dartford Heath which is just on the outskirts of Dartford. The cache is about ½ a mile or so away from the car park, over slightly uneven trails and heathland. It is just off the red trail walk.

This cache has been located near the now retired Dartford Heath cache (GCPCHV). We will be placing more caches around the heath soon, so this will be the first in the series. We have done this to bring GeoCaching back to the heath, as the last keeper of the caches here has moved away.

The heath is rather popular with dog walkers and cyclists so watch out for them muggles.

At time of placing the contents was:-
Log book and pen
A GeoCoin & A TravelBug
A Bonus Coin
A Golf Brush-T
A keyring & Travel Tag
