is closed at night. All NFA properties are held in trust and are
open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Dogs are allowed but

Mulholland Fact: John Mulholland Edited "The Sphinx" for
twenty-three years and it took a physical and financial toll. But
rather than limiting his activities to his live performances,
Mulholland had actually embarked on a new endeavor…an
endeavor far more secretive than anything in the realm of
conjuring. He had entered a world of covert operations, espionage,
mind control, drugs, and even death. John Mulholland had gone to
work for the CIA.
I would like to thank the
following people:
- JMONTI for providing the design of this puzzle cache. He
came up with this design as a possible solution to a ZURCHER puzzle
cache.
- Guy Peterson from the NFA who provided input on how to
get access to the Mulholland Preserve and for giving us permission
for placing these caches.
- Pauline Pierce Mulholland for donating these properties
to NFA .
Congratulations to Obvious One,
Gunner453006 and Karensplace08 for First To Find, Their
combined efforts deserves a poem...
On a sunny, spring time day,
This talented trio went on its way.
Twas' Knot Easy to cross Pond Brook
But they could not help it, they had to look.
They cleared the leaves and searched the ground
And all at once Rabbit Trick was found.
Memorial Plaque required a climb
The intrepid trio did not mind.
Just to Log It was their quest
So they did their very best.
To Top it Off, they solved the riddle
They sang, they danced and played the fiddle.
(OK that's a stretch, but it does rhyme with riddle)
Don't Get Hung Up we heard them say
And the clever trio did find a way.
The Mulholland Series they were First To Find
And the trio's friendship it did bind.
I wish to congratulate:
...One, ...Six, and ...Eight.
