The cache is located on a very popular place to promenade.
Many different works of art, and there are many benches to sit on where you can relax and look beyond an "infinite" sea.
I have posted several caches here in Tenerife. To find most of the other caches, you need to go several miles. I thought to be kind to this cache.
Discovered to my astonishment that there were no caches down here in the heart of Playa de las Americas. So I decided to put this cache.
A natural choice was the promenade. I measured how far it is from the south end of the promenade in Los Christianos and the North End, and I found out that it is about. 11 km. I've gone parts of this trip many times before.
This cache is very easy to find, and there is no problem to walk, even for young children.
The cache is very easily accessible, and therefore it was very popular. There seemed to be about 480 visits the first year.
The cache is easy to take forth for registering your find, and replacing is easy after the log.
The name of the cache, I've copied from a small town in northern Norway where I was born. If you come by boat from Lofoten to Narvik, you can turn right at Balsnes, and when you come to a little place called Ballangen.
Now I hope it will not be any problems with muglers in the new place.
