Geocache Description:

Situated in Wangaratta – this park is an ideal location to take a break, enjoy a BBQ or a family picnic. A major feature are the River Red Gums (eucalyptus camaldulensis) said to have been planted in 1905 and which provide wonderful shade in the summer months. There is plenty to see and do for adults and children alike. If you are here at dusk or early morning, you may be lucky enough to hear the distinctive ‘woof woof’ of the barking owls and there are usually some ducks to feed those bread crusts to! If doing this cache at night, please be aware that the toilet block in the park is locked at 6pm. There are more facilities at the top of the park.

This compact multi takes up to 45 minutes to complete and is designed for an exploratory stroll through the area. There are multiple park entrances but only one is suitable for vehicles. An additional waypoint has been added for parking in the park.

There is no special stealth required for this cache – just act like all the muggle tourists/visitors and you will blend right in!

You will need a pen and paper to answer the questions at each location to find your way to the cache. The brackets do not indicate multiplication.

The cache is a small metal container with log, FTF badge and small swaps.

Enjoy your time in the park.
