This is the second in a series of geocaches that will highlight historical landmarks and interesting places in Goleta.
Girsh Park is a community park located in the heart of Goleta, adjacent to the Camino Real Marketplace shopping center. Open daily from 7 a.m. to sunset, with its soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, playground, BBQs, etc., is the area’s only active recreational parkland. July 4 th Fireworks Celebration, the AYSO Splash Tournament, and the lemon festival are some of the major events held in this park.
The cache is a cylinder container containing a pencil, log, and some non-trackable geocoins. Easy to reach, no need to touch or go into the wild rose patch. Beware of muggles!
