After spending the previous two days searching for the more than 50
new permanent Cache Ba$h caches, you will be too beat to cook by
Sunday morning. If you are staying at a hotel, some wimpy
continental breakfast with croissants and toast is not going to
satisfy your hunger.
You certainly have more caches to find in the Geocaching Capital
of the Midwest, so you need a BIG BA$H BREAKFAST
(BBB) to fuel up right for another BIG
caching day. The WGA has got you covered by again bringing our
famous pancake breakfast crew to West Bend.
Pancake Breakfast Details
Location: Regner Park in West Bend
Time: 7:30 am to 10 am (you must purchase your plate by
10, we will continue serving a little after that)
Breakfast Cost: $5 for adults (13 years and older), $3
for children 6-12, and free for children under 6. (Note that
geocachers may show up and participate in the activities listed
below for free, but they will not get anything to eat.)
The breakfast includes:
- Pancakes… lots of them
- Breakfast sausage (* a reasonable limit will be placed on sausage
consumption to control costs)
- Beverage of your choice, including coffee, orange juice, milk,
and cocoa
- Fresh fruit such as bananas and oranges
GPS Turkey Shoot
We will have an expanded GPS Turkey Shoot this year, with 4
animals randomly placed in Regner Park. You go to each animal and
determine their coordinates. The individual who provides the most
accurate coordinates, based on the average of all those we receive,
will win a new Garmin Oregon GPS. $50 gas gift cards will also be
awarded for second and third closest.
Pancake Toss
We only serve premium quality pancakes. Sometimes pancakes that
come off our griddle are too small, burnt, raw, or damaged to give
to our paying customers. So what do we do with the rejects? Toss
'em!
Everyone can toss a pancake to try to instantly win a door
prize. At the end of the day, a prize will also be given to the
individual who tosses a pancake the farthest and the one who gets
closest to our target pin.
WGA Membership
We will again be signing up individuals for membership in the
WGA (it's free!).
Thanks to the City of West Bend Park, Recreation & Forestry
Department for the use of the facilities at Regner Park. Thanks to
the West Bend Area Chamber of Commerce for including the WGA in the
Cache Ba$h weekend activities.
