How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

DO NOT park on Johnson Lane - do not park on the farmer's nice lawn!
If you are doing the whole ring, best if you start at Óin GC2C773, where you'll find parking for one or two cars.

If you are doing just this one cache on its own, park close by at Eccleshall school - see waypoint.

...Not until then did they notice that Gandalf was missing ...“Just when a wizard would have been most useful, too,” groaned Dori and Nori, who shared the hobbit’s views about regular meals, plenty and often...

The Eccleshall Ring is a 2-3 Hour walk south of Eccleshall, based on the 13 Dwarves that accompanied The Hobbit.

ASK Nori: Where's Gandalf?

Collect the numbers from each cache if you want to find Gandalf, a bonus cache also near Eccleshall. Nori's number is on the inside of the lid of the cache container.
