tjener en cache :-)

Det var på netop denne bakke Prins Friedrich
Karl dirigerede de tyske tropper til angreb på Dybbøl skanserne
D.18 April 1864 kl. 10:00. Med sig havde han bl.a. et 300 mand stortmilitærorkester, anført af hans yndlings dirigent den kongelige
musik chef Gottfried Pieke, der til lejligheden havde komponeret en
march med navnet Düppeler Schanzen-Marsch, som skulle fremførers samtidig med angrebet på de danske skanser.

It was on
exactly this hill Prince Friedrich Karl dirigated the german troops
to attack on "Dybbøl skanserne" April 18th, 1864 at 10 pm.
He hadamong other things a big military orchestra with 300 men commanded by his favourite conductor, the royal music chief Gottfried Pieke, that on the occasion had composed a march by the name "Düppeler Schanzen- Marsch" that should be put forward simultaneously with the attacks on the danish redoubts.
