Geocache Description:

Are you ready for a muddy hike?

If you like to get dirty, wet while enjoying your Everglades, then this is the right cache for you! The location of this hidden treasure will allow to enjoy a long hike on the Bird Drive Recharge Area hidden jewel in the middle of Miami. Great place to see a bit of what this city used to look like before humans came along.

Amazing place where you will be seeing our very own flora and fauna, lots of saw grass, native plants, wild flowers, cool islands of trees, alligators, rattlesnakes, cottonmouths, tortoises, wading birds, turkey vultures, hawks, barred owl, osprey and many more. Be careful of ATV muggles as you may encounter them as well.

This is indeed an amazing place to hike and learn about nature, but mostly to see how much damage we can do as humans to our beautiful ecosystem. So gear up and get ready for one of the best hikes in Miami I promise you it will be well worth it.
