Fasades stiklojums un vides iekartojuma elementi vizuali saista eku ar Daugavas udens virsmu, tadejadi to iesaistot apkartne. The most striking new construction in 2004!
Lately, the most eye-catching feature of the left bank of the River Daugava is the emerging office building of Swedbank, standing up tall and attractive over the river. An impression of upward gravitation is achieved by the slight narrowing of the house as the number of levels increase, as well as the sloping fasade solution, visually reminiscent of a sail, and the closing peak. The fasade glazing and environment layout elements visually link the building to the surface of water of the River Daugava, thereby merging it with the surroundings. The bank’s new building forms the new outline of the left bank of the River Daugava, and symbolically represents the successful economic development of Latvia.
