Geocache Description:

Cache and dash beside Dufftown Station.

The Keith and Dufftown Railway is an eleven mile line linking the World's Malt Whisky Capital, Dufftown, to the market town of Keith.
The line, which was reopened by volunteers during 2000 and 2001, passes through some of Scotland's most picturesque scenery, with forest and farmland, lochs and glens, castles and distilleries.
The area's abundant wildlife can be glimpsed from the train, including deer, foxes, buzzards, heron, and much more.
For more information please visit the website - www.keith-dufftown-railway.co.uk

Dufftown Station is located less than a mile from the town centre towards Elgin on the A941. The Station building has been restored by the Association from a near-ruined shell and now boasts a booking office, waiting room and information area.

Cache container is a small blue plastic pot, with room for coins or small TB's.
