Cache is tucked away in the sign of the beaver. No need to lift anything or put anything on top. Just replace in same position to protect from winter's icy grip.
Beaver Creek, Yukon Territory was originally the traditional lands of the White River First Nation. In 1913 Gold was discovered in Chisana River in Alaska and Beaver Creek was on one of the historic trails. Alaska Hwy construction began in 1942 built in 8 months. A few miles south of Beaver Creek is where east/westbound caterpillar D-8 dozers met on October 25, 1942. Canada's most westerly community.The cache owner worked at the local Alas/kon Border Lodge in the late 70's. Mile 1202 on AK Highway brings back many fond memories.
