Geocache Description:

The Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal tow path caches. (BMC)
pub wall
An expanding series of caches along the Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal tow path.

Unlike many canal path walks such as the East Midlands, Coventry - Hawkesbury Junction with its constant drone from the M6. This is one of the most scenic canal routes in Britain. It runs for over 30 miles through idyllic rural scenery of the National Park between Brecon and Pontypool and then continues to Newport.
This canal was built between 1797 and 1812 to link Brecon with Newport and the Severn Estuary.
The canal has been gradually restored by the British Waterways Board with support from the National Park and others since 1968 and  was reopened to the public in 1970.
This cache is located very near the White Hart Inn and as such you may find lots of Muggles very close by. A good deal of stealth may be required at certain times.  Please do not park in the pub car park to do this cache, unless you are going to be a customer. The pub serves good beer and nice food but is unaware of the cache.

You are looking for
a watertight container slightly larger than 35mm film can with original contents including logbook but no pencil.  Please replace very carefully, you will need to hide the end of the container.

I would be really grateful if you could leave the little Robin that's has been left, as my Mum passed away recently and she loved Robins. This was a lovely surprise to find him in here. Please take care when replacing. Thank you
