Trat
Trat bola postavena ako cast Bratislavskej zupnej miestnej
zeleznice spolu s tratou Zohor - Zahorska Ves. Prevadzka na trati
sa zacala 15.11.1911.
Trat vedie pomerne nenarocnym terenom Zahorskej niziny na upati
Malych Karpat. Usek Zohor - Rohoznik bol v polovici 70-tych rokov
modernizovany kvoli vystavbe cementarne v Rohozniku, vdaka ktorej
sa podstatne zvysill objem nakladnej dopravy. Charakter pravej
miestnej trate ma az koncovy usek so stanicami Solosnica a Plavecky
Mikulas. V roku 2005 bola osobna doprava na tejto trati
definitivne zastavena.
Nerealizovane Malokarpatske
zeleznice
Viedenska arbitraz (1938) a aktualne
politicke vztahy vo vtedajsej Europe si vynutili novy pohlad na
zeleznicnu siet na Slovensku. Arbitrazou neprislo Slovensko iba o
rozsiahle uzemia, ale aj o 930km zeleznic. Prerusili sa viacere
trate, zeleznicne spojenia hlavneho mesta akoby ktosi obstrihal
noznicami. Z piatich trati Petrzalska pripadla Nemeckej risi, trate
na Zitny ostrov a Sturovo pripadli Madarsku. Trat smerom na Kuty
smerovala do protektoratu Ciech a Moravy. Slovenskym smerom ostala
iba jedina, ta najstarsia, este jednokolajna smerom na Trnavu.
Jedinym smerom umoznujucim alternativne spojenie bola druha strana
Malych Karpat. Ponukalo sa vyuzitie existujucej trate Zohor -
Plavecky Mikulas. Tato trat z roku 1911 mala celkom 35km. Dalsou
vyuzitelnou tratou bola trat Jablonica - Brezova pod Bradlom -
Myjava.
Dostavba trate predpokladala vyslednu trasu Bratislava - Zohor -
Plavecky Mikulas - Jablonica, Brezova pod Bradlom - Myjava - Nove
Mesto nad Vahom. Ako prva zacala priprava trate Plavecky Mikulas -
Jablonica. Realizacia stavby zacala v roku 1943, do konca vojny sa
realizovalo 40% zemnych prac. Aj po vojne sa vo vystavbe
pokracovalo, no rozhodnutim Ministerstva Narodnej obrany z roku
1947 prestala byt stavba naliehava z hladiska obrany statu a vsetky
prace na stavbe sa zastavili. Aj napriek tomu ze trat nebola
dostavana, bolo vybudovanych mnozstvo podpornych objektov - 16
podjazdov, 14 priepustov pre vodotoky, 17 rurovych priepustov pod
cestami, ...
V 70-tych a 80-tych rokoch boli navrhy na dostavbu trate vzhladom
na blizkost cementarky, no tieto snahu neboli uspesne. Je
zaujimave, ze v Nariadeni vlady z 8.1.2003 sa uvazovalo o dostavbe
zeleznice.
Keska
Suradnice kesky vas dovedu k budove byvalej vyhrevne. V dobe
parnych lokomotiv bola vyhrevna potrebna na vecerne osetrenie
lokomotivy - doplnenie vody, uhlia, odpopolnenie, premazanie a
uloznenie na noc :)
Kedze trat sa od roku 2005 nepouziva, cele okolie je spustnute a
zarastene, preto ku keske pristupujte opatrne.

Track
Railway was built as a part of Bratislava
regional railway together with track Zohor - Zahorska Ves.
Operation on this track starts on November 15th, 1911.
Track leads through soft terrain of Zahorska lowland below the
Small Carpathian mountains. Because of cement factory construction,
the track between Zohor and Rohoznik was modernized in 70's. Real
local character has this track only between stations Solosnica and
Plavecky Mikulas. In year 2005 was personal traffic on this railway
closed.

Carpathians
Vienna arbitration (1938) and actual
political situation in Europe leads to reassessment of railway
routes. Slovakia lost 930km of tracks, and only connection of
Bratislava with other Slovak cities leads through old one-track
railway to Trnava. Decission was made to continue with track Zohor
- Plavecky Mikulas with direction to Jablonica, and connection to
track Jablonica - Brezova pod Bradlom - Myjava. The whole track was
planned from Bratislava through Zohor, Plavecky Mikulas, Jablonica,
Myjava to Nove Mesto nad Vahom.
Construction started in 1943 with terrain works. Until end of the
WW2 was made 40% of these works. Until 1947 was also built many
infrastructure objects, including 16 underpasses, 14 water outlets
and 17 pipe outlets under the roads. Ministry of Nation
Defense made decission to stop works on this railway in year
1947.
In 70's and 80's was attempts to continue with construction because
of cement factory in Rohoznik, but was not successfull. Also in
2003 was a discussion regarding continue of works on this
railway.
Cache
Cache coordinates leads you to old building of train depot. In
steam era was this building used for evening care of locomotives,
filling with water and coal, removing the ash and lubrication with
oil.
As this track is out of use from 2005, surroundings is overgrowned,
so keep attention.
