A straight to it cache by the side of a beautiful lake.
Caldecotte Lake is part of the Milton Keynes' water management
program. Constructed in 1982 it is an oasis on the southern
boundary of the new town. It offers a range of activities including
watersports, cycling, walking, and of course, geocaching. The river
Ouse flows alongside the lake, turning into the Ouse valley park,
it offers a haven for a variety of flora and fauna.
The cache is accessible along the path that runs around the
lake. It is close to deep water, so
please, excercise the usual caution if caching with children or
pets.
The cache is an old mint tin. Please use stealth when
retreiving. This is a popular spot with walkers, joggers, cyclists
and everybody else.
