Simply Paul: TBs and coins booked out, everyone I saw here has logged their attended-ness (me, a muggle mate and the always-lovely Dobunnies)... it's time to call Last Orders on this cache. Giant thanks to Jackie and Ian for making us so welcome in their little pocket paradise; it really is a very special place. An island that's not really an island, as I think one of us put it. I hope to be back before too long. With a sea kayak [:)]

Geocache Description:

Pub events; a mainstay of caching meets. Where better to compliment
my Britain's Fifth Most Remote Event Cache (Eigg) event than one in
mainland UK's most remote pub, The Old Forge, Inverie, Knoydart.

Wednesday 22nd June 2011, from 12pm til 2pm (food served 12 til 3pm)

Afterwards I plan to climb the local (Metric) Munroe, the 1010m (3346ft) Ladhar Bheinn, which is about a 22Km round route walk away. If the weather is ok that is. You'd be welcome to join me for that too, but this will mean an overnight stay in Inverie as we won't be back before the boat sails.

Getting there: The 'Knoydart Seabridge' runs every day, all summer, but it's also possible to walk to Inverie across the mountains of Knoydart or take Bruce Watt's Knoydart Ferry. The walking option takes two days and requires a rough camp mid way though...
