Geocache Description:


Cache is in the vicinity of the "Nearai pine" said by Battle of Mikatagahara that Shingen Takeda's base was put when fighting.

It was used as people's signs because the pine was here, and it existed along the highway from of old.
The Nearai pine is on the west side of Route 257.
The pine at the second generation is planted now.

The Takeda army succeeded in the pretense when descending Houda slope (visit link) and wiling the Tokugawa army, reversed in this place, and fought against the Tokugawa army.

There is an entrance of the old road from this Nearai pine to Houda slope. There is a slope when going to the north by about as many as 400m.
The potato field and the orchard, etc. have extended to surroundings now.

There are about one-kilo Mikatagahara soul garden when going south over Route 257.
In the entrance of the soul garden, there is a stone monument of the Mikatagahara old battlefield. Both armies might have crashed around here.

There is no pen in cache and have it, please.

キャッシュは、三方ヶ原の戦いの際、武田信玄の本陣がおかれたといわれる根洗松付近にあります。

古くからここには松があり、街道沿いにあったので人々の目印として利用されていました。
現在は二代目の松が植えられています。

祝田坂 (visit link)
を下ると見せかけて徳川軍をおびき出すことに成功し、一転陣形を立て直して徳川軍と対峙したといわれています。根洗松は現在も国道257号線の西側にあります。
この根洗松からは祝田坂への旧道の入り口があります。北へ400mほども行くと坂があります。
現在では周囲はじゃがいも畑や果樹園などが広がっています。
国道257号線を南下すると一キロほどで三方原霊園があります。
三方原霊園の入り口には、三方ヶ原古戦場の碑があります。この辺りで両軍が激突したのかもしれません。
