The area is flat and known for dog walking, so it's pet and wheelchair friendly. Easy park and grab with plenty of parking nearby at almost all times of day.
Town Center Park SW has quickly become my favorite place to visit and take pictures. The locals call it "The Duck Pond", but this little spot has more to offer than just fouls. Tucked away into the corner of the newly renovated waterfront metro area sits a gem of a park. It is not hard to find water features within DC, and this park has that. It is hard, however, to find one with its own eco-system. One that thrives without the help of pigeons and this park definitely has that. In the end, I hope you enjoy this park as much as I do.
