Geocache Description:

You don't have to be a redneck to love NASCAR....(but it helps)

This four part multi will take you on nice little hike around (or a lap in NASCAR speak) the Brett Woods Open Space area of Fairfield. It shouldn't take long, maybe a little over an hour.

Drive to the dead end of North Street in Fairfield. The old road continues into the park and there's a few small parking spots there. Walk the old road up the hill until you reach the second trail on the left, the Blue Trail.

The above coordinates are for the Pit Road/Starting Line where the first stage is hidden and it will have the cords to Turn's 1 & 2 which will have the cords for Turn's 3 & 4 which will have the cords to the final Checkered Flag/Finish Line and the cache. Simple enough, right?

The first three stages are small snack sized Rubbermaid containers. The Final Checkered Flag/Finish Line is a medium sized container big enough for the usual trade items and assorted junk.

All should be easy finds and are on easy trails with some short distance bushwhacking. One is even ON the trail. All waypoints were averaged over a three day period taken at different times of day.

Here's an idea..why not time yourselves and post your times for bragging rights to the fastest find....just like a real NASCAR race !

When I placed this it was in September and everything was dried up. I know that in the spring there will be some places that are going to be wet.

I have put my cell phone number in with the first stage, if you run into trouble you can text or call me.

Have fun y'all and LET'S GO RACING BOY'S!
