Simply Paul: I know someone got a good shot of me moving woodwork up here - please post if you can! All the travellers have been booked out and everyone who attended has logged I think, so now's the time to send this cache event onwards, into the light. Thanks to everyone who joined me at the Top of the World (approx.) to help leave it in better shape than when we arrived. Lovely to meet you all (approx!) and I hope you all had as much fun as I did. [:)]

P.S. I will get around to uploading some photos of my own before too long...

Geocache Description:

*Ok, so not quite the top of the world, but as good as we can manage in the UK. So climb all the way to the top of Britain's highest mountain - Ben Nevis - for a cache meet and a bit of a clean-up.

Friday, June 24th 2011, from 2pm

At 1,344 metres (4,409 ft) high, Ben Nevis is as close to heaven as you can get in the UK or Britain. However, it's not quite so close to godliness, on account of its lack of cleanliness. Thus this event: to secure the 'Highest Event/Cache' crown I landed in 2009 by holding an event on top of the Trigpoint as well as doing some CITO in a location which should be unspoilt. I suggest gloves as well as a sturdy bag to bring refuse down with you... There will also be caching chit-chat and travel item swapping to ensure this event complies with Groundspeak event listing guidelines.

There's a thread about my June 2011 events on the Groundspeak forum.

Companion Events in June:
Mon 20th- 5th Remote Event; Eigg.
Wed 22nd- The Old Forge Pub Event (Inverie, Knoydart).
Fri 24th- Cito Event on Ben Nevis - here!
Sat 25th- Ben More/Oldest UK Cache Event.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[Officially the event is being held on the shelter roof - making this Britain's and the UK's highest possible event that doesn't involve a stepladder!]
