It seems like every time I travel this road, the memories of going to the old Clinton Drive-In Theater come to mind.
Playing on the playground, catching fireflies, getting dizzy on the merry go round.
Watching the dancing hot dog advertisement, the green hamburgers, mountains of popcorn, and fountain drinks that they didn't sell there.
Two dollar carload night, where all the family went and half the neighborhood kids too.
The tinny sound of the outdoor speaker, the announcement of what will happen to you if you were to steal one.
Driving down the road in those days gone by, the cache location is about the point where you first got a glimpse of the giant screen.
Sadly, the drive in is now gone, making room for some businesses, but the memories live on.
