Where there's a party, there's
food!
For the Potluck Dinner, please indicate in your 'Will Attend" log
if you will bring an Appetizer, Salad, Side Dish, Main Dish,
Dessert or Beverage.
This cache page will be updated with offers and wants for the food
table, so please check back regularly.
Back by popular demand there will be
a Geocaching Themed Christmas Decoration Contest - Get out your
tape, scissors, glue guns, and other decorating tools and go
CRAZY!
Create an Christmas ornament that is in some way related to
geocaching. Bring your ornament to the party and hang it on the
designated display line for all to see.
We will have a vote, and the best decoration will win an awesome
prize.
But wait! The fun doesn't stop there! Got Kids? We've got Crafts!
Please let us know if you are bringing any little Elves to the
party so we can make sure we have enough nifty things to keep them
busy!
Tis the Season for Giving! We will be

But as the Grinch would say - Tis the
Season for Getting! This year, we will be having a Grinch Gift
Exchange - you know the one where you get a present, then someone
steals it from you, then someone steals it from them... If you
would like to participate please bring a wrapped gift valued
between $0.05 and $10.00. Remember to keep it 'Nice', Santa's
making his list and checking it twice!!
We're changing the way we structure the gift exchange this year -
we're keeping all the same elements from before but have developed
a system to speed up the entire process as there were so many
participants last year. We'll also make sure that kids are
exchanging with kids and adults with adults, so please make the
gift that you buy (and wrap) appropriate for your own age
group!
We need your Help! Last year's silent
auction raised $560 and that was because we had some wonderful
items up for bid. We are looking to the caching community to be
just as generous this year. If you have anything you can contribute
to the silent auction or prize table it would be greatly
appreciated. The items you donate need not be geocaching related
(but they could be), but should be in good condition and as
desirable as possible - let's get people excited and see some more
of those crazy bidding wars!!
You should bring cash with you if you intend to
bid in the silent auction as we are unable to process credit card
payments. And yes, you will want to bid - there's a huge, crazy
assortment of very neat lots this year!!
"I will honor Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year." - Charles Dickens.
And last but certainly not least, be prepared to participate in an
exciting activity that kophykupp is planning!
SILENT AUCTION ITEMS (and other
Prizes)
We will keep an updated list here of all donated items leading up
to the event. Please let us know as soon as possible what you will
be donating. Please note there is no requirement to bring a
donation to the party - all are welcome and the party is free to
attend.

URGENT! We need volunteers to help set up the room before the event
starts - this will be about a one hour project and should be done
some time after lunch-ish. Can you help? It would be moving tables
and chairs around the room and hangingd decorations, etc. We also
need folks to help take things down again afterwards! Many hands
make light work!
