Willa Cather: American Giant Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

PeanutBird: Ran by this cache the other day and noted how overgrown the area was with buckhthorn. Though the cache was intact, it wasn't in a real nice area, so I'm archiving. Thanks to everyone who's visited.

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed to honor Willa Sibert Cather (1873-1947), Pulitzer-prize winner and author of works about frontier life on the Great Plains.

Cather grew up in western Nebraska, and is most famous for O Pioneers! and My Antonia.

While you're in the area, explore the trails and grab the half dozen or so caches within Meadow Park. Park on and access the trail from Larkin Drive. Seek camouflaged peanut jar.

Congratulations to Sharknose Bunnies and Infernape for FTF honors!
