Medina County Parks: Once again, it was great to see so many familiar faces coming out to brave the cold for some good, clean, honest fun! It makes me feel good to know that all of you enjoy these events that my wonderful volunteers and I put together. We will be back again next year with something fun for sure!!!

Geocache Description:

The coordinates listed are for the check-in point at Wolf Creek Environmental Center. This event will be held from 6 - 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011. Registration begins no earlier than 6 p.m.

Beat the winter blues during the 5th annual winter geocaching event at Wolf Creek Environmental Center. We will party beach blanket bingo style as we search for caches and collect pieces to create a bingo card, which will then be used to participate in friendly rounds of bingo competition. There will even be token rewards and a door prize! So grab your Beach Boys cd’s, put on your Hawaiian shirt and head to Wolf Creek for some fun in the non-Sun (no sunscreen required!)

Event Details and Rules:
• Participants must supply their own GPS units
• Participants must supply their own flashlight (required for activity)
• Children must be accompanied by an adult
• No pets allowed
• Please come prepared for the weather and snow covered and/or muddy trails
• Bring ½ to 1 dozen cookies to share
• Hot chocolate/coffee provided
• Door prize available
• There is no need for trade items
• No travel bugs or trackable items please
• Reservations are not necessary
• There is no fee for this event
