FR : Cache accessible gratuitement dans le jardin du 2 mai au 30 septembre du mardi au vendredi de 10h à 13h et de 14h à 19h, les samedis et dimanches de 11h à 19h (fermé le lundi et certains jours fériés : 1er mai).> Ouvert du 1er octobre au 30 avril du mardi au vendredi de 10h à 12h et de 14h à 17h, les samedis et dimanches de 11h à 18h (fermé le lundi et certains jours fériés : 1er janvier, 11 novembre et 25 décembre).
Dans l’ancien palais des évêques, ce musée rassemble quelque 2000 œuvres représentant les grands courants picturaux du début du siècle, de Courbet (1850) à De Staël (1950) avec une prédilection pour les mouvements fauve et expressionniste (Vlaminck, Derain, Matisse, Dufy, Modigliani, Rouault, Van Dongen, Delacroix, Daumier, Maillol, Picasso, Seurat...)
Ne pas manquer : rare collection de verreries (flacons, coupes, vases transparents à décor émaillé, gravé, taillé… ou encore en verre bullé, craquelé avec décors intercalaires) du célèbre Maurice Marinot (verrier troyen) et bel ensemble d’Art africain, l’une des sources d’inspiration de la peinture moderne.

Free access cache in the garden from May, 2nd to September, 30th. From tuesday to friday, from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm, saturday and sunday, from 11am to 7pm (closed on mondays and some bank holidays). From October, 1st to April, 30th, from tuesday to friday, from 10am to 12, and from 2pm to 5pm. saturday and sunday from 11am to 6pm. closed on mondays and some bank holidays : January, 1st, November, 11th and December 25th.
In the old bishops’ palace, this museum houses a collection of some 2,000 works representing the great movements in painting at the beginning of the century, of Courbet (1850) and Staël (1950) with a predilection for the Fauve and Expressionist movements (Vlaminck, Derain, Matisse, Dufy, Modigliani, Rouault, Van Dongen, Delacroix, Daumier, Maillol, Picasso, Cézanne, Seurat ...)
Not to be missed: a rare collection of glass, (flacons, cups, transparent vases, with enamel decoration, engraved, carved… and in bubble glass, crackled glass with decorative inserts) by the famous Maurice Marinot (Troyes glazier) and a fine collection of African Art, one of the sources of modern painting.
