How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Winter Carnival Geocaching: If finding the medallion seems like a long shot, here's a treasure hunt where everyone's a winner. Use your hand-held GPS receiver to track down containers hidden in parks around St. Paul. Each "cache" contains a fun fact about the Winter Carnival. The Challenge: Find all 10 by 5 p.m. on Feb. 5, 2011 and you can enter a drawing for a prize. Entry forms are available at Rice Park, beginning the afternoon of January 27, 2011. Entries are NOT available online.

This cache contains a "code" which you need to enter the 1st Winter Carnival Challenge . The code is on the cache container, in the logbook, and on small cards. Please, take a card only if you have no other way to record the number.

Cooler Crew Cachers feel strongly that winters are here to stay in Minnesota. We feel that the citizens of Saint Paul and neighboring communities should take advantage of this situation by participating in the winter activities that are available in our communities. Rather than hide from winter, people should go out and have fun in it. We encourage everyone to live by the Cooler Crew Cachers credo:
