Statistics have shown that more than 50% of Americans cannot
adequately read or write at the eighth grade level.
So, why not consider picking up a book or two from your
favorite
location and participate in the joys of reading. It's up to
you.

Relocated in 1985 from its original Bayfront Park site, the Main
Library shares its home in the Miami-Dade Cultural Center with the
Historical Museum of Southern Florida and the Miami Art Museum. The
buildings are grouped around a central plaza where people sit, eat,
read and participate in ongoing activities for all ages.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 9:00 - 6 p.m. Thursday 9:00 -
9:00 p.m. Sunday 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. (From October 17, 2010 to May
15, 2011, except 12/26/2010 and 04/24/2011)
