TheRichFather and the Johnstown-Altoona Geocahers Association
invite you to join us as we celebrate JAGA's 2nd birthday! The
party will be held at Panera Bread Company in Richland (Johnstown,
PA) at 11:00 am on Sunday, January 30th. We will be meeting and
eating in the meeting room near the end of the building!
Sept. '08... Megplant, Docj58 and FirstMate sit around a campfire
in Ohio discussing the idea of starting a "Johnstown-Altoona
Geocachers Association"
Jan. '09... JAGA's initial planning team of Megplant, Docj58,
Emilierene & TheTatooedJew, TheRichFather, and Cookie+3 meet to
lay the groundwork for JAGA and plan the first event.
Jan. 31, '09... JAGA holds its first event, drawing some 60 or so
cachers and even a local TV news crew.
Two years and 15 events later... groups of cachers from our region
and beyond have gathered not only for events... but we've climbed
mountains, walked on water, cached in freezing temperatures,
ascended huge rocks... and we invite you to join us as we gather to
celebrate two years of group caching in the Johnstown-Altoona
region!
Whether you're a regular member of the group, a local cacher we
haven't met, or an out of towner who wants to celebrate with us...
we'd love to have you join us as we celebrate two years of events
and group caching with JAGA and look forward to the next!
And don't forget to set your car as a waypoint. You may lose it in
this spot!
