Guildford Chantries - SouthEast. One of a series of nine.
The cache is a 1 litre food container.
The Chantries form part of the ridge of the North Downs, just to the South of Guildford. Chantry Wood is 78 hectares of mixed woodland and an Area of High Ecological Value within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in striking distance of Guildford Town Centre.
The Chantries are popular with walkers (and dogs) all year. Rabbits, deer, badgers and foxes live wild there. In April/May the wooded area is a mass of bluebells. The top of the hill has open fields with stunning views to the south.
The cache is a 1 litre cliplock box 1.7m up a vine covered MTT. Stickoflage used to hide - please rehide.
The cache has been seeded with some initial "treasures" including ballpoint, smiley ball, donkey cardgame, flower seeds, ring, tape measure. The "FirstTo Find" trophy went to 3guildfordht.
Please ensure that the cache is left with the lid firmly on to keep the contents dry and is well hidden.
Good hunting. You may also be interested in my other caches.
Please only log a find if you have signed the log. If you haven't, try adding a "write note" instead. Thanks.
