Geocache Description:

Well it is that time of year again. Let’s get together and have brunch in the big town of Buford, population 1.

The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will be held at the historic Buford Trading Post. It will be a Pot Luck Brunch so we ask that everyone bring a food or drink item (non-alcoholic) to share so we all have something to eat and drink.

There will be new caches placed in the area for the event. I plan on them not going live until after the event.

Caches in the area are spread out but there are some great caches in the area and some great hiking to get to them.

In addition to the food, we will have games (depending on how many show up) and we may pick-up trash around the Trading Post just to help out the owner who is so gracious by letting us hold this event here for a third year in a row.

The Trading Post has wireless Internet available so you should be able to use your laptops.

We look forward to a big crowd and seeing everyone there. When you RSVP in your log please put how many plan to attend and also what food item you plan to bring. This will help so we don't end up with a lot of the same thing to eat and drink.

1. We will be holding an election to appoint a new Vice President for the remainder of 2011. Any paid member of WAG that is over 18 in attendance will have a vote.

PS: We will have chairs at the event but we do ask that if you have a chair you can bring to the event please do so as chairs could be limited.

Also if anyone has a canopy they could bring in case of bad weather it would be greatly appreciated.

We will have a raffle as we have a few things to give away.

April 19, 2011: Stopped by today to confirm this event was still good to go with the Trading Post and it is. This may be the last one at this location as the owner lets us have the event hoping that he will sell a few things, so please remember to buy something from the Trading Post so we can have this event again in 2012.
