Geocache Description:

DEUTSCH:

Viel Spass beim Suchen !

ITALIANO:

Buon divertimento !

ENGLISH:
The Tappeiner promenade is one of the most famous paths in Merano, which takes promenaders from the city centre along the hillside of Monte di Merano. Moreover it is one of the most beautiful high promenades all over Europe, offering a mixture of alpine and Mediterranean vegetation, combined with a fantastic view on the city of Merano.
Merano owes this promenade to the doctor, botanist and anthropologist Dr. Franz Tappeiner, which also gave the name to this path, running some 100 m above the roofs of Merano.

The cache is located at the end of the promenade, which is a good starting point for a hike to St. Peter, Tirol or the "Algunder Waalweg" (water channel trail).
Have fun !
