Not so far from the city centre, around the corner from Majorstuen station, the Sporveismuseet is situated.
This museum is maybe not as famous as other museums in Oslo, but it is definitely worth of visit. Here you can see the history of the local traffic in the Oslo area. The hall of the museum was originally a big workshop providing service. Now the hall inhabitates well preserved historical trams and buses, for example my favourite modell - Gullfisk. You can enter freely almost all the vehicles in exhibition. The exposition is supported by historical photographs commercials and texts.
I also recommend to visit local Deichmanske bibliotek, which is on the opposite corner of the street where the hall is located. On the wall on the right hand side from the entrance you will spot a historical photograph, showing how the area around looked before, when the workshop was opperating.
If you gonna be lucky, sometimes you can see some historical buses parking outside, in the front of the hall.
The cache is small metallic Lakerol that can hold small GC. This is a busy urban area, stealth is absolutely necesary. To write the log please step far away from the cache location. Please bring your own pencil. Tusen Takk
